Holiday gifts

Holiday gifts are difficult to find for certain family members and friends, and it doesn't help when you are on a budget. So here are some Christmas ideas to start trying out (no matter your skill level when it comes to artistic endeavors) to create gifts that will not 'brake the bank' as Holiday sales rear their 'ugly' all enticings head (come on, admit it when your were shopping for others during these big blow outs you end up buying things for your self).

For Her
*make jewelry (it never goes out of style)

I am not taking cerdit for this
This next idea is my own, to take old clip on earrings that your grandmother may not want (or you can go to Goodwill, are some quaint antic shop) and glue it on to a ring (you can find at Michel's). Any girl would love to receive this unique ring that looks expensive; but without the price tag.

For him
like many have said "the way to a man's heart is through his stomach." I do not fully believe in the effectiveness of this statement but; but then it doesn't hurt to try!

Make him some small different types of cookies (or buy them), then find a tin box (glue on some Christmas decorations for your local craft store). Be sure to use cupcake paper to put the different types of sweet in. This gift is perfect for a Holiday party or an 'add on' gift to give to a significant other (you can write a sweet message on the bottom of the tin).
This is a little visual aid

You could also give him a bouquet of 'flower' (but instead of flower but candy canes, game cards, etc..)

Or you can buy this; its one of Kandy Anns Candy Cane Kreations

Au Avior mes amies,  I hope these gift idea have helped you with your pre- Christmas planing.

Wish list vs. necessity

Bonjour! As fall has started and we start looking forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas we start thinking about what we want, wish, and would love to have. The basics that all women should have as these winter months approach are 'winter conpatible' clothing items. Such as boots, not the flimsy cute ones but the high fashion (durable) ones. For example many magazines and websites are outlining the basics they think you should buy. Here are some of the reoccurring themes that has my stamp of approval.
BOOTS

Cole Haan

Now as for some amazing music! Some of my favorite music is on 107.7 the end and the now nonexitent funky monkey (104.9 fm) and of course kiss 106.1! My new favorite song is by the xx and it's called crystallized; click on the link below to listen:

Au revoir mes amies

Bring on the snow

As cold weather starts to emerge and bring with it some of our favorite Holidays (Thanks Giving, Christmas, and New Year's); during this time period we start to see tons of guides to find the perfect gift, the perfect pair of snow boots, and so on and so on. Well I am not writing this blog to advertise these huge enterprises, but rather a review of things I love in fashion, music, and everyday life. Everyone has an opinion and I am voicing my unique voice and I hope that you will enjoy my commentary.
